Guide to Building Ford ZVH Engines

The ZVH engine is a hybrid engine comprising of the 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 Zetec block and CVH head. This guide has been prepared to share the information gained in building the ZVH engines over the years.

Ford ZVH Engine Builds and Parts

This is a list of Ford ZVH engines available from Sitech Racing. The engines can be ordered as exchange units or upgrades on existing builds.

The base Zetec can be obtained for £200 upwards, to which new uprated pistons, con rods, oil and water pump, water pump spacer, gasket set, belts, bearings and tesioner has/can be added.

Our Phase Four engine has achieved a speed of 166.6mph (current ZVH record) and our Phase 5 engine holds the quarter mile record at 12.65 seconds at 122mph.
