Ford Focus RS has been converted JS400
Last week saw the Focus RS been converted to JS400 spec.
This included the fitment of a Mongoose turbo back exhaust system, an Airtec intercooler, a Pipercross airfilter, a set of 660cc injectors and a JS400 ECU upgrade carried out at Sitech Racing, Blair Atholl.
Bellow is a picture of our BDM ECU upgrade tool.
The results of the conversion are incredible, not only is it stellar fast it now returns over 35mpg!!
The Focus RS did a whole day at Knockhill on Saturday (pics to follow).
It then did a day on the Kames circuit on Sunday.

Then down to Santa Pod on Wednesday to compete in a Redline mag test day, on a handling circuit and quarter mile.
The car has now covered over 5k miles never missing a beat.

Focus RS tuning JS400
So here we have the first Focus RS fitted with a JS400 conversion, we have fitted larger injectors, JS400 map to a car already modified by the customer with a 3inch turbo back exhaust, pipercross filter and Airtech intercooler.
The car started first crank and drove away like standard. On the open road, 2 words "smooth and fast" Cant wait to get my one done now (just been too busy).

Focus RS and Focus ST parts in development
Sitech Racing currently has a cast aluminium inlet/plenum chamber in development. The unit has been designed to be a complete bolt on replacement for the plastic plenum chamber.
The volume and chamber shape has been calculated on ANSYS fluid dynamics to deliver the most equal volume of air to each runner.

Also, Sitech Racing is developing an adjustable "blade type" rear anti bar assembly. This product is currently is on the drawing board.
