Standard Focus RS with Sitech Racing Inlet manifold
The car was a completely standard 1500mile example.
The RS was put on our rolling road first of all, where it produced 288bhp slightly down on the book power. We then fitted the Sitech Racing inlet and re-tested. The end results showed a gain of 12bhp, but the power delivery was much improved with the gain in power from 4000rpm right upto the rev limit, with a far less pronounced power drop off at 4500rpm.

Sitech Racing Focus RS Inlet manifold

Here are the first pics of the Focus RS inlet manifold currently been cast. Machine shop next.
The manifolds are a direct replacement for the plastic standard manifolds. Bolt on with no modification. They have been designed with increased capacity and flow characteristics (CFD) to aid efficiency.

The car started first crank and drove away like standard. On the open road, 2 words "smooth and fast" Cant wait to get my one done now (just been too busy).

Also, Sitech Racing is developing an adjustable "blade type" rear anti bar assembly. This product is currently is on the drawing board.

Focus RS mk2 and RS1600
Time for a little update, as been very busy over the last 5 months! (Time flies)
Sitech Racing are proud to have a new Focus RS in ultimate green to develop its own tuning products and packages.

Also currently the only tuner in Scotland to offer ECU tuning package for the Focus RS where you don't have to remove your ECU and send it away to England, or drive down there.
Sitech Racing have teamed up with Jamsport to offer tuning packages and chassis upgrades out of Sitech Racing in Blair Atholl, Perthshire.
Also we have just completed our RS1600iT track car.

Other cars to be worked on over the last few months include -
2 Escort Cosworth track cars competing in the Scottish Saloon championship.
A very nice TVR Grantura
Mazda MX5 for full forged engine rebuild to run a Cosworth supercharger
Mapped many Omex and V4 ECUs
A long term project V10 M5 engine into a Ford Expedition
Plus lots of engine builds from Fords to Hondas
