BC gearbox rebuilds and RS2000
Sitech Racing has just completed 2 BC box rebuilds to include new baulking rings, gaskets and seals, which have been fitted to the corisponding customer cars.
We also have just received a RS2000 with a Fibresports X-pack kit. This is going to be a big project as the car is only just a rolling shell at the moment.
Focus Duratec 2.0. We have just made and fitted one of our custom inlet manifolds on this engine, results have been very good, making the engine rev more freely.
Escort Cosworth. This has been a fairly in depth mod, they have include fitting a Gotech Pro-X on a 36-1 trigger wheel, the car also runs launch control. We have fitted new uprated fuel pump new Fuel Lab filter and Turbosmart pressure reg. The car also has had one of our new inlet manifolds fitted with RC injection 750cc fuel injectors.
Haltech Sports 2000 ECU for Skyline R33 has been delivered just waiting to get it fitted and mapped.
Nissan Pulsar head. We have fully stripped and ported a SR20DET cylinder head for an ongoing project, next job is to strip the engine.

Nissan Skylines with Haltech ECU and rebuilt engines
Over the last few week, we have been busy with a pair of Nissan Skyline GTR33.
Both of them are having a complete engine rebuilds, one is staying twin turbo been built to 550bhp spec and the other is going full spec to run a GT42 single turbo, to push it into the 700+bhp.
The Underground Graphics GTO was on the dyno a couple of weeks ago where it recorded 538bhp at 20psi of boost, which should be fine to use as a daily drive.
The Escort Cosworth is nearly complete with its new Turbosmart fuel system, uprated fuel pump, Sitech Racing plenum and Gotech ECU.
Sold and dispatched 2 more Sitech Racing inlet manifolds one for a Focus Duratec 150ps and another for a Escort RS turbo.

Gotech Engine managment
This week most of the jobs at Sitech Racing involved fitting and mapping engine management to a variety of vehicles.
The grey S1 has a Gotech mini-x fitted and we will do the mapping next week.
The Blue Fiesta ZVH XR2 has had Gotech pro-x fitted and mapped.
The Underground Graphics GTO was in to have the boost setup checked and some more mapping to its Autronic SM4 ECU - quick is not the word for the way this car accelerates!
We have an Escort Cosworth in to have a Gotech pro-x fitted and mapped plus other tuning items that will be detailed later.
Also we had an RS500 in for a set up, this particular vehicle did require a significant fuelling increase as it was running dangerously lean.

Gotech Engine Management and Throttle Bodies
A month has passed since the last Sitech news update during which we have worked on a very mixed range of vehicles.
Vauxhall Corsa with Throttle Bodies
We have fitted Gotech engine management to a 1.6 Corsa GSI on throttle bodies with great success.
Peugeot GTi with Throttle Bodies
There has been a Pug 106 GTi in with throttle bodies, again fitted with Gotech engine management. This combination makes for a very quick and responsive car.
Sitech Racing Featured in Fast Ford
Sierra Cosworth engine builds featured in Fast Ford magazine.
Blue Printed S1 Escort RS Turbo Engine
We have been building a blue printed engine for a very clean and restored S1 Escort RS turbo.
Jobs in Progress
Gotech is being fitted to "Mercury Rising" S1 Escort RS Turbo and also to a large turbo Escort Cosworth.
Fiesta XR2 Track Car
The little XR2 track car is still in build and is now fitted with a 300bhp ZVH engine.
Mitsubishi GTO Engine Builds
We have another 2 Mitsubishi GTO engines in build.

Fastest Escort RS turbo in the UK
At the weekend Sitech Racing attended Crail Raceway in the Pitlochry Car Hire sponsered Ford Escort RS Turbo. It performed perfectly.
This year the car is sporting a new spec of Newman cam to make the best of the GT30 turbo, it also features our revised valve train geometry.
Sitech Racings best time of the day was a 12.65sec at 122mph. We feel there is room for improvement in that time as the car was not running NOS, also the car was running on 3 year old 205 section road tyres.
Sitech.

Gearboxes, Honda Integra, Ford Cosworths and RS turbos
The last couple of weeks has seen Sitech Racing working on the above.
We had a very nice Honda Integra DC2 in for some engine set up work, it responded very well from some additional fuel and ignition advance, it ran very well for an engine that had covered over 100k.
We have also been busy with a Sierra Saphire engine and interior swop, nearly done, then just set the engine up.
Also we have rebuilt a RS turbo BC gearbox to include a LSD and change its centre housing for an early 4 bolt version.
The Black RS turbo from up north has been finished, it spec includes a forged ZVH bottom end, a extreme flowed cylinder head fitted with a Ph4 Newman cam and solid followers. The car also sports a Gotech MFI Pro ECU along with a special GT25 Turbo, its safe to say that this car is quick!
The DC2 Turbonetics teg is coming along, we just have to fabricate its solid boost pipes and stainless exhaust.

Sitech Racing Mitsubishi GTO Project Car Featured in Banzai Magazine
Banzai Magazine ran a feature on the Sitech Racing prepared Mitsubishi GTO owned by Underground Graphics in their January 2009 edition. Following the Photoshoot by Adrian Brannan of AB Carpix we were really chuffed to find out Banzai had decided to include a 2 page pull out poster of the car along with the article.
Thinking it couldn't get better than that imagine our surprise when our copy arrives in the mail and and we find editor Joe Clifford had put the GTO on the front cover and the feature rant to 7 pages! In Joe's own words;
Something has happend this month that I personally never thought would happen - I've put a Mitsubishi GTO on the cover.

DC Turbonetics conversion, Escort Cosworth, RS200
So the last few weeks have seen Sitech Racing working flat out.
We have had a Ford Escort RS Cosworth in for set-up, geometry check and adjust.
We have also carried out a high lift rear clam conversion on the RS200 and tweeked the geometry, along with an engine tune to increase the boost pressure.
The Honda Integra DC2 has moved on quickly. It now has the engine installed and the turbo bolted in on a nice ram horn exhaust manifold. The massive intercooler also has been installed and we are just waiting on some parts to turn up to finish the hardline intercooler pipes.
Good progress has been made on the Escort RS Turbo from Inverness. Its 300bhp 2.0 ZVH engine is in the car. We just have to do the GT25 turbo conversion and map the Gotech ECU.
